Matte Red Lipstick for thick lips -Tutorial for Medium Skin tone

Step 1:

Grab your lip balm. Apply it to your upper lip. Slide some on your lower lip. Remove excess with a tissue if required.


Step 2:

Select a liquid foundation of an exact match to your skin tone. Take a damp beauty blender. Use the narrow part of the blender to pat it gently on all over your upper lip. Do the same for your lower lip.


Step 3:

Pick a fluffy brush. Select any setting powder to keep the foundation in place. Apply setting powder to create a dry canvas on your lips for the lipstick.


Step 4:

Grab your red lip liner. Draw a V on your cupid's bow. The two edges of the V should be right below your nostrils.


Step 5:

Draw an outline over your upper lip. Start from the middle and move to the lip corners. Draw an outline over your lower lip. Start from the middle and move to the lip corners.


Step 6:

Take a red lipstick of your choice. On your upper lip, fill the space in between your liner outlines in a sweeping motion. Start from the middle and move to the lip corners. Do the same for your lower lip.


Step 7:

Pick a flat, tapered brush. Select a concealer suitable for your skin tone. Create an outline around the lips to clean the edges. Blend the concealer with your finger or brush using a patting motion.


Step 8:

Pick a small blending brush. Take a Setting powder. Set the concealer applied with the setting powder.
